Life is always crazy

Well the date is Finally set. Jason goes into surgery early Monday morning in Las Vegas. The doctor told him he has a 99.5% success rate. So I hope everything goes good. After two weeks of heavy pain meds, I think he will be happy to be done. I think I'm just as ready to be done. Today I was cleaning dusting my cupboards. I looked over and Brielle was drinking my orange glow cleaner. She acted like it burnt her mouth and would not stop coughing. I called poison control. They told me that is one of the worst things you can drink. They told me to call 911 and get her to the hospital. I like you got to be kidding me. My neighbor Janea took me into the mesquite hospital. A few chest X rays and A few hours of watching her and we are home. The doctor asked me if I wanted to buy stock in the Hospital because I'm always there. I don;t think I thought that was as funny as he did. Please keep Jason in your prayers and I hope are life settles down for a moment.

Brielle new favorite thing

Brielle loves to go feed the horses. Everyday she says walk, carrots, Apples lets go. And she knows the way there. If you pretend to turn the wrong way she screams horses.

My brother Beau and his wife Stef came down for the weekend. Not really knowing with Jason if we would be in the hospital or not. They were here and ready to babysit.


The boys all had Basketball games on Sat.


Saturday night we got a babysitter and took Baxter for his Birthday to mesquite for all you can eat crab legs. Jason did go with us. He made sure he was nice and medicated before we left. I think it was a little much for him. But he wanted to get out of the house.

Bridger finally a smile. He had his braces tighted and his teeth were really hurting.

Another Update

I just thought I would update everyone on Jason. I took him in to Vegas today to see the spine specialist. He put Jason on a few steroids and other medications and we our waiting for a call to take him back for a epidural. Witch is suppose to help his back. The specialist is wanting to wait a week and get his MRI results from Utah and to see if anything improves. There is always high risks when doing back surgery and they just want to make sure that is the last resort. So in the meantime he is resting and is still on pain meds. He is still in a lot of pain and is really becoming more onery everyday shocking I know. I think the pain and the stress is just getting to him. So in the mean time he has no idea when he will go back to work and we are playing the waiting game for the next week.

Update on Jason

If I wasn't frustrated enough I think I just got way more frustrated. Jason was scheduled to go in the morning for surgery. We had been staying all week up at his parents house. Staying close to the hospital like we were suppose to. Jason called to check on his Workman's comp and they told him they would not put him on it if he had the surgery in Utah. They told us that he needed to have the surgery done in Las Vegas. Not really knowing how long Jason will be not able to return to work we have to make sure we follow there rules so he will get paid. So we our pretty much back to square one. We our back home. Jason still in lots of pain and just waiting for a phone call for the doctor to see us in Las Vegas and schedule the surgery. Hopefully latter tonight he will be able to go in. He needs to be real careful if the disk that has shattered in there shifts it could be very bad. So hopefully some good news soon.

A little change in plans

This not the post I thought I would be doing next. Well as most people know we have been planning a trip to Disneyland. Yes we have been many times before, but this was our first time taking brielle. I was so excited. Well luck have it, Last night Jason dropped to the floor in pain. I really did not think to much of it because he always has back pain. I think I was more getting mad at him for not helping me get packed. Threw the night he lay ed there in the most pain I have ever saw him in. I tried to talk him into going to the hospital all night. About 4:00am I finally talked him into it. I woke up Baxter to watch the other kids and I took Jason into the mesquite hospital. They tried to drug him up to take the pain away and did not secede. They did a cat scan and it reviled his back was in bad shape. They wanted to take him by ambulance up to the St. George hospital and we talked them into letting me take him up there. We got there and they did a MRI there was a few Doctors that came in and talked to us. He has two ruptured disks in his back also another one that has broke off and is pushed on his siatic nerve. He quickly needs surgery. They wanted to keep him in the hospital until Thurs when they will operate. But we convinced them that we would take him to his parents which is close to the Hospital until Thurs. They have him very highly medicated. The surgery they are doing will be on the back. I hope everything goes OK. The doctors have gave us high hopes. He prob lee will not be able to go back to work for some time. Please keep him in your prayers. And no we did not leave the kids in logandale. My mom went and got them for us. Thanks Mom. And I guess Disneyland is going to have to wait.

AHHHHHHHHH

I'm feeling a Little over whelmed this week. Sometimes I just wish I could stop the world for just long enough to catch up. Brielle started in Sunday not feeling so well. I took her to the doctor Monday to find out she had strep throat, thrush, double ear infections. She has screamed the last 3 night all night long. and during the day she thinks I need to hold her. I took her back to her real doctor today and I also went. I have a bad sinus infection and troat infection and going on 3 nights of no sleep. The boys have been very busy they our all playing basketball. That means 6 games 3 practices this week and not to mention all the other stuff scouts, tutoring and so on. I have 70 sugar cookies ahead of me for Friday all to make with cute little names on them for the kids classes. I haven't even begun to pack for our week at Disneyland witch we our leaving early Monday morning. I guess I need to start the laundry so we have something to were. I think I would be more ape to do the laundry if I could even walk in there. I hate the weeks when ever thing piles up at once. This is just the start of the things I need to do before Monday morning. I think I going to go crazy.

What a sad day it was in Logandale yesterday. I spent most of the day down at the church. I really don't know why but I felt like I needed to be there. A lot of the old timers that helped build the church and make the bricks for the church set up long chairs across the street and just watched. I enjoyed many of there stories threw out the day. Me and Brielle even got caught on the evening news. ( note to my self don't go wandering by news crews when your just out for a morning walk. No make up and wearing sweats ). They got some awesome video of us and I hoping the camera does add ten pounds. Well any ways I think our community has lost a great and historical building. I feel sad for that is were Baxter was Baptised and Brielle was blessed. And so many hours I have spent in there. I put a video on that I hope you will watch its great. it does have some dumb commercial at the first but bare with it.

So Sad!!!! The day our church burnt down.

We woke up this morning to a phone call at 6:00 am. A neighborhood full of smoke. We took a drive down to the church but could not get to close. The fire had started at around 4:00 this morning. When we got there the chapel was gone. And the church was still in flames. I don't know how it started or were we will go for church. But today will go down in history as the day the church burnt down. Its so sad.





In this picture there is a guy clear up in the air spraying water but you can't see him real well. Firefighters have come from Las Vegas to help put it out. But the church is gone. I will get some picture of it better when I can get closer.
