Our sweet little Bodel ( Her Story)

It is funny Heavenly Father has a plan for all of us. And sometime's it may be the last plan you ever expected. Most of you know that we have been planning on getting Bristol birth sister due here very soon. That is what we had planned to do. But we had a lot of douhts. Things just did not feel right about it. We kept going back and forth with it. Should we pull out of it or go forward with it. We spent a lot of time praying about it and could not get a good answer. We spent a lot of time in the temple we could feel a little girl's spirt in there with us and knew there was suppose to be another little girl join our family. But still not a good feeling at all about the adoption that was soon to take place. We got a call one day from our adoption angency and they said they were very concerned about the birthmom and had a really bad feeling. The same feeling jason and i had all this time. We decided right there to pull out of the adoption.

The same day I had been talking to my mom about a lady I knew at her work. Her nephew and wife had just had a baby and it looked at the time it was going up for adoption. We expressed interest in her. And the next thing we knew we were headed up to northern UT to meet the birth family. We walked into the house and I could feel the little spirit I had been feeling in the temple. It was hard not to cry. We had a great visit with the birth parents and grandparents, latter they called back and wanted to meet our kids. So latter that night we took them to meet them. That night they told us that they would like us to adopt Peyton. That is what they had named her. We loved the name and kept it as her middle name. We had a great experience with them. She has a amazing set of grandparent's and her birth parents. I could feel how much they loved her. It was so neat to me to see how loved she is by them. We will let them be in her life as much as the want to be. I can't even tell you the the feeling's that we have had over the last little while and threw this whole process. Heavenly Father had he hand in all of this. When a child is meant to come to your home Heavenly Father will find a way for them to come.
We just love her so much, She is as sweet as she looks. We feel so blessed to have her in our family. I hope that her grandparents don't mind me sharing this, but the grandmother told me how her grandfather had given her a blessing that she would be adopted into a good home. I love that and thought it was so neat to us that she ended up in ours. It has been such a amazing experience and i can't even express it in words.
My sister in law Stef took her picture's the other day. She does such a great job. Thanks Stef so much.
I should be back to my regular blogging soon. I have just been taking some time and cuddling with sweet little Bodel.

Bodel Peyton Baker

We would love to introduce our new little baby girl Bodel. She is so little and so sweet. It is a super long story. I will share latter. But A new birth mom and a very wonderful experience we have been so blessed to adopt this little girl.

She was born June 4th and weighed 6 pounds 6 ounces and was 19 inches long. We have had a pretty crazy week.

We are camping out this week in Layton Ut with Jason sister and husband. They are very kind and are I hope enjoying the chaos.
We have a court day on Monday and a stay her in Utah until we get approval to cross state lines with the baby.
Right now we are loving her to death and feeling very blessed. I will share her story soon.
in the mean time I have a lot of help.

Yea it is Summer

Summer is officially here. We have loved this week. No were to go nothing much to do. It has been so nice. Baxter has started Football for the season again. Freshman Football, I'm getting so old. It has been so hot. For June we are really hot already. I'm scared for the rest of the summer. Yesterday we took the kids to the splash pad to try to cool them down a little.
They had a blast. Especially Boston.

Bristol found this little boy and was lost in conversation with him. It was pretty cute.

Brielle found her little friend paisley and was so excited.
We took a picnic lunch and had a fun day. We even stopped at our new AM PM and got slussies. They have the best ones I've ever tried. It funny when you live in a small town and have no store's around what get's you excited. AM PM will be our new weekly stop.

Brielle Party

Brielle had a fun little party. She had such a blast with all her friends.

They loved sipping away on there drinks

and Brielle loved opening all the presents

 They all loved the pinata
They waited patiently for there turn

She huffed and she puffed and blew here candles out. And caught her hair on fire.
By the end of the day she was tired, and had to much sugar, and it's my party and I will cry if I want to came in to full action.

Little girl drama is all new to us.
But for the most part it was a great day.

Past week happening's

We have had so much going on the last few weeks. It has been hard to keep up. Tomorrow is the last day of school and we are sure ready. We have had a lot of fun things going on. Baxter and Bridger had there year end band concert. Bridger is getting so good on his clarinet. He tried out for Jazz Band next year and made it. We are very proud of him. That means I will drop off Baxter before 6 at the High School for seminary and then run him over to the Middle school for Jazz band when school starts again. Got to love those early morning's. At least we have the summer now to take a little break.

Bridger got to perform one song with the Jazz band
Baxter got to give a solo.

Boston had his around the world report this past week. He chose Australia. He had so much fun doing his report. He borrowed all sorts of fun stuff from his Grandpa Baker for it. He served a mission there so he had a ton of fun stuff for it.

Baxter had his 8th grade graduation. Did I just say that wow I know I always say this but time does go by so fast. I don't feel old enough to have a high school er.
All the boys had to escort girl's in. They were chosen by ABC order.

 Way to go Baxter
Today we have 12 little girl's coming for a Luau for Brielle Birthday party. Tomm is the last day of school. Friday we have High school Graduation, and Saturday we have Baxter's Eagle Court. And are home inspection for our adoption. Then Summer will officially start and we can have some time down until the baby comes in a few weeks.
