First Day Of School

School started yesterday, The Boys had a great first day.
Baxter started 7th grade, I'm still in shock that my kid could be this old.
It's funny because I still feel his age.
You notice something in this picture. Who is taller?
Bridger started 5th grade, Crazy next year he will be in middle school.
Boston started 3rd grade

Are famous stand by Dad and Mom pictures before heading out the door to school.
Brielle had her back pack and lunch and pretty sure she was starting School today too. One pretty sad little girl that does not understand Preschool does not start for 2 more weeks.

A few Morning Muster Shots, Bridger says to me are you serious Mom put that Camera down I'm not 3.
Brielle was pretty sad when we left the school and she did not get to stay. She wants Homework so bad. We tried to cheer her up with a pink lemonade and string cheese. But no nothing worked. Jason asked her what can we do to make you happy. She said i want to go shopping. A girl after her Mom's heart. So off we went to mesquite for a good breakfast and a small shopping trip that included Walmart and the Dollar Store. But it satisfied her.

We come home put her down for a nap and then Jason and I did something that has not happened in 3 months a nice long uninterrupted nap. Yes it was so nice. I woke up decided I should do something before the boys came home so they would not really think we were having a party because they went to school. So I cleaned the house made some cookies and waited for them to home. They come home and said wow Mom the house is so clean it has not looked like this all Summer. I wonder why.

Twas the night before

The first Day of School, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even the Dog;

The backpacks were hung by the computer with care,

In hopes that school would soon not be here;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds,

While visions of Homework danced in their heads;

And mamma with her Diet Coke and Chocolate in hand,

Had just settled down for a long call to my dad,
When I sat on the bed, to read my sister a goodnight story there arose, a noise.

I sprang from the bed to see all off are clothes all set out.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open the shutters and could not believe it was already time to go back.

The moon shined bright while we read are scriptures and said our prayers.

And I knew summer was no longer here.

So good Bye Summer for another year.

Midnight Madness in Mesquite

Well it has begun, 2010 Football Season. Last night they had there first 5 Games in Mesquite in a tournament called Midnight Madness. There team did great they won 5 out of 5 games. We got home yes at midnight. But it was a lot of fun.

Baxter did a great job. He showed off by laying a few flat on the ground and just sat there on top of them. Notice his helmet has a big x on it. Yea that means he is one of the big ones. The rules say anyone over 135 pounds can not carry the ball. So at 136 he got Xed. He is fine with it. If the ball gets thrown to him he can still play it but that is about it. He does great on his position of left Guard. He gets to play offence and Defence. So he loves it.
Brielle giving Baxter some advice during the game. Great job Baxter, Get out there and knock some more guys down.

Cute picture of Baxter and Brielle except she thought it was cool to stick your finger up your nose for the picture.
Brielle has her friends she hangs out with at the games, She just love these girls.

Well we were pretty proud of our little team last night. They did great. This year we switched leagues so all games will be played in Logandale or St. George. It will pretty nice. They will have a lot more competition then last year. So that is good. They had the perfect amount of 7th graders sign up and only about 8 8th graders. So the 8th graders did not have enough for a team. So they ended up dividing are team and letting the 8th graders play on ours. It has been a big big battle with the parents. Nobody wanted them to split the team. It was pretty sad for the team. So it was great to see our team do so well last night with just half the team from last year.

Guess who is

The newest Cub Scout. Is he not the cutest. All grown up and ready to take on the world of scouting following in his brothers and Dad's footprints.

We had pack meeting the other night were they welcomed Boston in and Bridger got a bunch of awards.
Yes that turtle is real and only 8 years old. Brielle loved it. Brielle new we were going swimming so she demanded that she take Shamo. I asked her why and she said he is so hungry he has not ate ever since we were at Sea World I'm sure there will be some fish there he can eat.

Boston was trying so hard to fit in, he was ready to help with the flag. Even know it was the webloos turn not his.
