Poor little Bristol

It has been such a long week

Or i would say 3 weeks. All our kids have been sick. 3 with strep throat 2 with horrible colds and one with his tonsils out. My kitchen counter is beginning to look like a pharmacy no joke. I took Bristol in about two weeks ago to the doctor she was wheezing and just not acting ok. The doctor gave her a breathing treatment sent her home. About a week latter she scared us to death she was struggling so hard to breath so hard. To scare Jason you know it has to be bad. We took her into the instant care and the doctor looked at her and listened and said I do not feel comfortable treating her. He says get her to the Er fast. We ran over to the Hospital were she scared them to death. They could not find anything wrong but she sounded horrible. Meantime I'm getting extremely worried. Yesterday we took her to a Ent possibly thinking she had some kind of blockage in her nose. He looked at her listen and was pretty concerned but again he could not find anything wrong. We left there and my stomach just hurt I knew something was really wrong but I could not figure it out. It had already been a hard week looking at her hearing her struggle to breath and feeling like what is wrong with this poor sweet child. So yesterday with the sick feeling in my stomach the Ent had advised us to go see a certain Pediatrician. I called hoping to get her in as soon as possible. I told them what was going on. They said bring her in in the morning. Yes such a better felling. We took her in this morning and the doctor took one look at her and the gasping for air she was doing. She says she has RSV. I said no they tested her for that in the hospital a few days ago and it was negative they also x ray her lungs and they were clear. But the doctor said no I know that sound that in RSV.  She tested her and it came back Yes positive for RSV and also positive for Bronchial ammonia. What how many places had I taken her to this week and finally a answer. The stuck a tube down her nose and could not believe the amount of mucus that came out. They sent us home with a breathing machine and a mucus sucker machine and hoping and praying she does not get any worse or we will be spending some time in the hospital. She is already doing so much better tonight. She just needed the right thing. I will be so happy when the cold and flu season is over.

Happy Valentines Day

We had a great Valentines Day!!! We had lots of sugar and a lot of LOVE. The kids all did there Valentines last night and we made cookies for there teachers and friends.
Here are the kids with there Valentines and cookies for there teachers.

Jason always trys to make the day pretty special. Friday night we went out with some friends for dinner. Then Saturday night Jason and i went and had a special Valentines Lobster dinner. It was pretty fun. Jason is pretty funny he never lets me down and gave me boxes of chocolates all weekend long. This morning i sent him down to the store to get some milk and he shows up with all this
I headed outside and found this on one of are cars.
Then this afternoon Jason gave me a really cool ring. Its kinda of hard to see in the picture it has a diamond heart on one side and a ruby heart on the other. He had the inside all engraved. It was super nice of him.
Hope everyone had a great day!!!!

Braces for Boston

Boston's big day came today! He was a little unsure of what was to come. But he did give me a big grin before going in.
He sat there so big and good. A different seen from 2 weeks ago when Jason was sitting on him in the chair because he had to have 2 teeth pulled.

He choose blue and glow in the dark bands for his first set of bands.

Our house is full of a few not so happy kids right now. But i did find one that was smiling. Sorry pictures are a little blurry but cute.

The best part of the day would have to be Bridger. Funny story. He hates his retainer hates it. I make him put in every night and before he hits the pillow he has taken it out. I was dreading taking him in for his appointment today. I had even made him scared of what the dentist would say. Meantime in the last week he has lost 4 teeth. His retainer fit perfect due to losing the 4 teeth not due to not were it once in 3 months. I told him that prob lee the only time he will have that luck. Now wear you retainer.

Baxter's Vacation Begins

Baxter had his Tonsils and adenoids out today. He was such a great trooper. The doctor said his tonsils were pretty bad when they took them out. He said he is going to feel much better now. He will be spending a lot of time like this over the next little while.

We got there this morning and he was clear full of nervous smiles.
Here he is showing off his first IV. Jason was joking with him that he was going to pass out. Because when i went in to have Baxter when they gave me my iv I passed out because I was so nervous.
There is a guy that works at the hospital that is super nice he always lets the kids choose one of his hats to wear while they have surgery. Baxter chose the Deer Hunting hat.

This is the one Brielle choose when she had hers out in Sept.
Here we are headed home. I got some pretty great shots of Baxter coming out of surgery but i promised Baxter i would not share them. I guess he is a teenager in 15 more days. Now I feel really old.
Thanks Mom so much for taking the day off and coming and watching the kids. And dinner way great. And I hope I did not mess up the dye on your hair to much for your cruise this week.

A Baby Shower and The Super Bowl

Saturday we headed up to Utah for my sister Tiffany's Baby Shower. It was a lot of fun.
Here is a picture of Bristol and Blake they are just 6 weeks apart. He is my brothers Beau and sister in laws Stefs. They were so cute together. He kept reaching over and holding her hand.

They are super close in size only a pound different. We weighed Bristol yesterday and she is now 15 pounds. Crazy how fast she is growing.

Brielle had a blast playing with all of her cousins. Bristol loved being held the whole day.

My sister Tiff and her two girls. She is having another girl on the 21st of Feb.

Grandma had fun with the 2 little ones.
Me and my 2 sisters and brother.
Sunday we watched the Super Bowl. We don't really watch much Football. But we love to watch the Super Bowl. We made cupcakes, Made chips and dip and sat back and enjoyed the game with a nice big Diet coke. Boston is all about the steelers he has loved that team ever sense he was tiny don't know why. Baxter was rooting for Green Bay. I guess you know who won the bet in our house.
Bridger and Brielle don't like football at all. The spent the afternoon playing in our playhouse outside. Baxter, Bridger and Brielle all stayed home today from church they were all sick. Jason had to work. I took Boston and Bristol. It was the weirdest thing only having 2 kids. I felt like I was missing something all day and there was more I needed to do.
This is going to be a big week at our house we have a few big things happening. Wednesday Baxter is getting his tonsils out. Then on Friday Boston is getting braces. Wish us luck it going to be a ruff week for the 2 boys.
