The start of Jason's Vacation

Before surgery

After surgery

Jason's surgery was successful. He is home and sleeping at the moment. His doctor said it was way worse then he thought. He said he will not be able to do any heavy lifting for 4-5 months that means he will not be able to return to work full time until then. He did say that he hopefully will be able to return to light duty in 6-8 weeks. Where he will be at the training center. He was in a lot of pain coming out of surgery and I hope we have gotten on top of it. I did not really understand the seriousness of the surgery until today. It was a very complicated surgery and very risky. I'm very thankful that everything went ok. So meanwhile Jason will be getting lots of rest. And thank you to my great sister in law Jill for coming and keeping the kids so I could spend the time I needed at the hospital. She has been such a lifesaver. I will keep you posted on how he is doing.

I'm glad Jason survived the surgery, now it is your turn to survive Jason. It is a good thing you are Wonder-Woman Heidi! Let us know if there is anything else we can do. When my kids get to fussy for me to handle I put them to bed and ignore them... I saw how Jason was... maybe you should try it with him... and this time take away his bell :) It was fun hanging out with your family! Hope the recovery goes well and FAST!
