We woke up this morning to a phone call at 6:00 am. A neighborhood full of smoke. We took a drive down to the church but could not get to close. The fire had started at around 4:00 this morning. When we got there the chapel was gone. And the church was still in flames. I don't know how it started or were we will go for church. But today will go down in history as the day the church burnt down. Its so sad.
In this picture there is a guy clear up in the air spraying water but you can't see him real well. Firefighters have come from Las Vegas to help put it out. But the church is gone. I will get some picture of it better when I can get closer.

I am so sad. I seriously feel like a member of my family has died. That church was the one I was blessed in. It's the one we had my Grandma's funeral in. Even when we moved to Hurricane, when we would come back for any reason, it somehow always seemed to involve the Logandale Church. Too, too, too sad!!!
Thats to bad! Hopefully all of you will be able to squeeze in to another building.

Holy crap! I hope it was an accident and someone didn't start it on purpose! How Sad to have the church burnt down! Keep us posted!
