Christmas, Pumpkin Muffins, and the Chicken Poxs

We are beginning to deck the halls around here. Our house is smelling like Christmas, we have the mess of decoration's for Christmas. But we are having a great time. We have gotten 3 trees done in the Living room, family room and the office the house decorated and tonight the kids will all have a tree in there rooms and decorated. It feels good to have it done and be able to relax now and enjoy the holidays.

We have had a pretty eventful week, Brielle started in with a fever Monday, I took her to the doctor on Tuesday. He could not find anything wrong except her 103 fever. He said she must have a viral infection. The next day here it came Chicken pox's all over the poor thing. She has had the shot but still got them. Today she has finally got up and about and a little more like herself. Poor thing it has been a fun week.

I got my little reindeer up to the bar this morning and made some yummy muffins I would love to share.
They are super easy. This is all you need.
A few more picture's of my Christmas trees worse nightmare
and this little look she always gives everyone. She is so cute and fun.
Mix the cake mixes and pumkin togeater. I added choclete chips because choclete makes everything better. And if you want to add a little pumkin pie spice. I added it but you don't need to.
 Grease your muffin tins
Spoon some in and bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
They are so good and easy. I like to frost them with Cream Cheese Frosting.
well there you have it our week.

FUN! love that little reindeer! Sorry Brielle got the chicken pox! That sucks! :( Hopefully it stops with her and doesn't spread! I wish we could get our christmas stuff out! But beau wont let me till next week! I LOVE that recipe! We actually make them as cookies and they never last long! I'll have to try them as muffins next time!

Those look so yummy. Do you add the eggs, oil and water for the cake mixes? Is it two cake mixes for 1 can of pumpkin? Please tell me the amounts. Thanks.

i just add two cake mixes and the large can of pumkin. Nothing else make sure your pumpkin is not pumpkin pie filling just pure pumpkin. I also added a little pumpkin pie spice and choclete chips but the receipe does not call for it. It just makes them really yummy.

oh with the Choclete chips I added a bag and a half it was perfect. I do think two bag would be good to.
