Prayers and a lot of Faith

We have spent the past week at Jason's Family Reunion up on Beaver Mountain. We had a ton of fun and have a ton of pictures. But I wanted to share a little about my life lately first. Remember how I said I had a bad reaction to the medicine they gave me for a sinus infection. Well when they took me into the ER they decided to do a CT Scan to check my sinus. I did not think much of it because, I have had a lot of these. Well lucky for me the ER Doctor had pumped me full of Adavain before coming back in and telling me the results of the CT Scan. He told us that I had  a small coloid cyst on the 3rd ventricle of the brain. He said you need to go see your neurologist. In the mean time the Adavain wore off and I started to goggle what a Coloid Cyst is and where it is located. It scared me to death. So we made a appointment with my neurologist and she looks at me and said we are going to run a bunch of tests. I said to her is this bad or is this going to be OK. She would not tell me because she wanted to find out what it was first. Which even scared me more. She did say it was  not in the best place of the brain. So mean time I was eating adavain like candy went off Diet Coke per Doctor orders and waited for all the 1000 or so it seemed test results to come back. We come off Beaver mountain Thursday to go to my Doctor appointment. I was hoping for good news because I knew I had to go back on the mountain for a few days. We entered her office and sat and waited, she had my brain pictures all over the computer. I told Jason this is not good. The Doctor came in with a half smile that I took like she was about to tell me something really bad.. Jason took it like you have nothing to worry about. She Begin to read the report from the MRI which they looked in great detail at the cyst. But what they found was not what I thought at all. There was nothing, nothing at all. But a very very healthy brain, She made many comments on how great of a brain and healthy and young it was.               She did not know if for some reason when they did they CT Scan in Beaver if my brain was passing some calcium at the time and that is what showed or what. But everything was OK if not great. I felt so relived and so much better. Then I remembered all the prayers that had been said and a great blessing that Jason gave me. He knew in the blessing it was all going to be OK. I still will never know if there was a cyst there and for some reason it is not now. I do not know. I will have to say that prayers and faith made it better.
